In partnership with the Quebec Maple Syrup Producers and Maple from Canada, Whistler’s Bearfoot Bistro will host a spring dining event inspired by the beloved culinary tradition, appropriately titled The Magic of Maple, happening from April 10 to 30th in Whistler, B.C.
Coinciding with the sap harvest in Québec, when maple trees are tapped to collect the prized “liquid gold”, the dining experience will showcase Bearfoot Bistro’s Culinary Director Dominic Fortin’s Québec heritage through an exceptional menu of maple products, reinterpreted with his innovative style. The menus will also include dishes influenced by French Canadian classics, like tourtière made with venison and beef, served with a caribou jus, and for dessert, a classic maple cone made with maple syrup, maple butter, and marshmallows layered and covered in decadent dark chocolate and the iconic maple taffy.
