Step back to 1827, when 25 Hudson's Bay Company traders set up a tiny trading post along the Fraser River to trade with the Kwantlen and Coast Salish people. Discover how the lives of Indigenous people, HBC traders and even Hawaiians and gold prospectors intertwined, fifty years before Vancouver came into being, which led to the proclamation of the incredible province we call home!

And do it with a beer in hand.

The Fort Langley Beer & Food Festival is back and better than ever. Now in its third year the annual celebration of craft beer will feature 80 beers courtesy of 29 celebrated craft breweries, plus 10 food vendors serving up fresh, locally sourced food from the Fraser Valley’s finest restaurants and food trucks.

This year's vendors include Trading Post Brewing Eatery, Meat & Bread, Meat2Eat, Henry’s Hip Eats, Oh Sweets, Benny’s Texas BBQ, Freybe, Taste of Heaven, Blacksmith Bakery and Dutch Guys.

Yes, Fort Langley’s incredibly cute farm animals will also be on site.

Tickets start at $40 and include admission to the festival, admission to Fort Langley National Historic Site, a 4oz tasting glass and three tasting tokens which can be redeemed for food or drinks.
