The Fountainhead Pub wishes you a bright and happy Vancouver Pride!

After 20 years of proudly serving the West End community, The Fountainhead Pub is excited to host guests (and their party of less than 6 friends) for good food, good drinks, and good times again and again this summer.

Since opening at the turn of the century in 2000, “The Head”, primely located at the corner of Davie and Burrard, has been the gateway to Vancouver’s vibrant Davie Village. As one of the original neighbourhood pubs in the heart of the Village, it continues to be a favourite gathering place for the city’s LGBTQ+ community with its all-inclusive and always friendly and cheerful atmosphere.

While Pride may look a little different this year, you can still count on The Fountainhead Pub to welcome you in during your Pride festivities this month!

As part of their reopening plan, the pub has provided more open floor space and socially distanced tables, with their goal being to allow everyone to safely celebrate every colour of the rainbow. If you’re on the lookout for a nice patio to hang out at, Fountainhead’s patio has implemented a more spaced out setting for you to soak in the summer rays or cozy up in front of the fireplace on summer nights.

Their kitchen and bar serves classic pub grub, along with beer on tap, wine, and cocktails, for lunch and dinner. Food menu favourites you just can’t miss include:

  • Legendary nachos topped with corn, black beans, jalapeños, red onions, mixed cheese, salsa, and sour cream

  • Breaded fried chicken breasts, served with plum, ranch or honey mustard sauce

  • The ‘Almost J’ burger, which includes a 5oz beef patty with lettuce, tomato, mayo, cheddar cheese, and bacon on a soft potato bun

The early birds can catch the brunch hour special (from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.) which features the traditional Fountainhead breakfast of two eggs (fried or scrambled), choice of bacon, black forest ham, or maple sausage, hash browns, and choice of toast.

Get the Pride celebrations started with one of Fountainhead's signature cocktails, including Absolut Davie and Cadillac Margarita, or by ordering one of their highballs or shooters with risque names.

The pub is open on Fridays and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. and on Sundays to Thursdays from 11 a.m. to midnight.

If you’re looking to ‘bring the pub home’, The Fountainhead also offers take out and delivery options from their delicious menu — call 604-687-2222 for takeout or order delivery or pickup through Uber Eats, DoorDash, and Skip The Dishes.
