While most festival goers had their eyes glued to the mainstage, there were plenty of other highlights to be found throughout the park grounds, particularly the festival goers themselves, who brought runway level  looks to each day of the festival. Other FVDED highlights went down at the BACARDÍ BAY pop-up, which was serving up some serious festival flavour in the form of custom cocktails, custom swag and pop-up lounge for attendees to refuel, refresh and recharge.

BACARDÍ BAY is the rum brand’s Latin-Caribbean oasis that they’re bringing to select festivals this summer in Canada. The bar-meets-lounge-meets-mini festival activation served as a refueling zone for festival goers in need of a break from the giant crowds. There was singing, there was dancing and there was definitely some rum, offering a reprieve from the intensity of the main stage and a chance to actually enjoy the summer sun (when it wasn’t raining) . It was far from a bad spot to be, as it offered attendees a place to actually get to know each other, letting attendees enjoy new cocktails while making a few new friends along the way.
