Palate Kitchen, currently open for takeout and delivery, is excited to invite Vancouverites back to their restaurant for their dine-in reopening on June 5.

Guided by their mission of bringing coffee love into the community, the locally-owned and community-minded Palate Kitchen is excited to invite Vancouverites back to their restaurant for their dine-in reopening as of Friday, June 5.

A concept under the Pallet Coffee Roasters umbrella, Palate provides an innovative menu of exceptional food to suit every diner’s palate. Located at the famous Jameson House in the heart of West Hastings, guests will be welcomed by an upscale interior with a warm ambience and highly skilled staff.

Palate Kitchen is also available for takeout service from Wednesdays to Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Their takeout food menu features a generous array of food offerings for brunch, lunch, and desserts, with various vegetarian and vegan dietary options.

Whether you’re hankering for a take-away brunch on the patio, shareable platters for a picnic in the park, or something new and different for dinner, Palate’s Mediterranean-influenced dishes are a step-up from your regular go to’s. Menu highlights include:

  • Kefta Tajine, with homemade Moroccan meatballs and homemade flatbread.

  • Vegan Palate Mezze, with falafel, hummus, Baba Ghanoush, kale hummus, and flatbread.

  • Vegetarian Primavera Cannelloni, with ratatouille, ricotta, and house-made pasta.

  • Palate Beef Burger, with fried egg, BBQ sauce, white mushrooms & onions, cheddar & emmental, baked tomato, on a house-made bun. 

  • Lamb Sandwich, marinated and slow-cooked for 24 hours, with Baba Ghanoush, chimichurri, harissa labneh sauce on sourdough.

  • Vegetarian Halloumi Sandwich, with breaded crispy cheese, guacamole, alfalfa sprouts on grilled ciabatta.

Five of Pallet Coffee Roasters’ cafe locations are currently open from Tuesdays to Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for takeout coffee and house-baked pastries. Their to-go coffee bar menu includes their specialty espressos, brew, latte, and tea selections. They will also be reintroducing a limited takeout food menu to all cafe locations as of June 10th. 

For those who want to have the coffee bar experience at home, Pallet has an online store where customers can purchase their blend collections, brewing equipment, and other coffee supplies Shipping Canada-wide and to the US, you can shop online anytime and have the products shipped straight to your door.
