This beloved and fun-filled B.C. summer tradition is coming back in an unforgettable way

The PNE Fair is coming back for 2020 with a whole new ‘Drive-Thru Fair Experience’ from August 22 to August 30!

For its 2020 edition, the PNE Fair will be hosting “A Taste of the PNE: Drive-Thru Fair Experience”, offering the most fun for the whole family — on four tires! Celebrating the very best of the PNE, this drive-thru expedition through the PNE grounds at Hastings Park aims to give guests a sampling of all of their Fair favourites from the comfort of their own vehicles. 

Starting this weekend, the PNE fair will run from August 22 through to August 30 — and will be closed on Monday, August 24 — from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. 

Due to the province’s current restrictions on large gatherings, the PNE has gotten creative by test-driving the drive-thru format with weekend food and entertainment events, including a mini donuts drive-thru and the Canada Day "reverse parade", to support the PNE’s food vendors and performers.

Programming highlights of The 2020 PNE Fair experience include: 

  • The President's Choice® SuperDogs™ Tail-Gate Party! Join these incredible dogs as they run, jump, and fly in this interactive, socially-distanced, and tail-wagging show!

  • A Summer Celebration Reverse Parade! YOU can become part of the celebration by honking your horn and making some noise as you drive-thru a colourful reverse parade line filled with dancers, puppets, and more.

  • A drive thru-agriculture display including goats, cows, pigs, and all of your favourite barnyard animals.

  • The Dino Drive! Stomp through time as you roar by your favourite larger-than-life dinosaurs, including a 50’ Brachiosaurus, a Triceratops, and the mighty T-Rex.

  • Drive-thru your favourite Fair food truck vendors including Tin Lizzy Mini Donuts, Hunky Bill's, Unroutine Poutine, and more.

  • Win A House, Win a Car! This year’s PNE Prize Home tickets are available for purchase from your vehicle.

PNE Fair Drive Thru Admission is $25 per carload. Along with their ticket, each vehicle will also receive a souvenir PNE face mask and two admissions to the opening day of the 2021 PNE Fair.
