Described as “part scavenger hunt, part escape room, part Amazing Race”, Richmond’s Steveston Maritime Mystery will have you and your adventure partners experiencing the city in a whole new way.
Like all Mystery Towns Clue-Solving Adventures, the Steveston Maritime Mystery is an interactive game in which your team will follow clues around the streets and pathways of Steveston Village, taking you to unique spaces and places even locals don’t know about. During the adventure, you will unlock puzzles, find out hidden secrets about Richmond, and learn fascinating facts about the historic fishing village as you go.

You can play the game as a team (recommended as 2-4 people), making it an ideal group activity for your family or your small social bubble. For larger groups, including parties and corporate events, you can split into separate teams and race against each other.
All you need to participate in the Steveston Maritime Mystery is a cell phone, comfortable shoes for walking 1.5 km, and a couple free hours for fun and adventure! Using the free Mystery Towns app, your team will receive a series of clues that will lead you to different locations around Steveston where you will find puzzles to solve.
Once booked you can start your adventure any day, any time, and whether you’re playing to race the leaderboard or just playing for the fun of it all, you can discover (or rediscover) Richmond at your own pace.
Mystery Towns has two additional clue-solving adventures in Richmond, “People & Places” and “Flights of Fancy”, as well as other adventures in more than 10 towns and cities in B.C. and across Canada.
