According to a Canadian Bureau for International Education survey, 86 percent of students said they would like to study abroad. This FREE Vancouver event will show you how.
There are almost 4 million students currently studying abroad right now, a number that continues to increase year after year.
The rising interest in studying abroad comes with good reason, studying abroad is an incredible way to broaden your horizons while setting yourself up for professional success when you come home, wherever that may be.
In fact, another survey by the Canadian Bureau for International Education found that 90 percent of students who studied abroad said these programs had positively contributed to their career achievements later on.
The truth is, in today’s competitive work environment, you need to stand out from the crowd and experience abroad is a fantastic way to do so. Fortunately finding opportunities to work, study and travel abroad is easier than ever.
The Study and Go Abroad Fair is coming to Vancouver on Sunday, September 29 at the Vancouver Convention Centre. At its core, the event is focused on post-secondary education, featuring top-ranking university and college recruiters from the US, UK, Germany, Switzerland and more.
Students can pre-register for the FREE event HERE. All attendees will be entered into a grand prize draw for a chance to win a free flight anywhere in the world courtesy of Air Canada.
One thing that attendees will learn at the fair is that studying abroad doesn’t have to break the bank, particularly if you choose to do your whole degree in another country. You can apply to either a free or very affordable English-language degree program in Germany or some Nordic countries, like Norway and Finland. France also offers education to everyone for a nominal fee of a couple of hundred dollars.
Ultimately, the Study and Go Abroad Fair is a great opportunity to meet with top universities, grad schools and professional schools from around the world while learning about each of their undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
There will be several vocational, work experience and Gap Year program providers onsite, plus a Travel Zone dedicated to those interested in working abroad, volunteering, internships and language travel.
You can learn all about your study and travel opportunities this week at the Vancouver Convention Centre. Bon voyage!
