Transportation - old

Has anybody else noticed a lot more float planes out there lately? More than a couple of times a day you can look up and spot two of them up there at the same time.

Though I'm not a "car guy" by any means I will continue to bring you photos of "old" cars I see on the streets that I think are awesome.

The end of Summer is marked by different events for different people. For some its kids back in school, for others its things like Livestocks legendary block party.

I like to think Vancouverites don't drive as much as alot of other people do in other places in North America. A two hour commute is not a regular thing here for most, and the thought of driving for 5 hours for a weekend trip seems like alot.

One thing I've noticed since moving back north is that even the buses say "sorry". Is TransLink the only transit system in Canada that does it?

Perhaps more rare than that 1980's Civic hatchback SIGHTING of a few weeks back (which I actually spotted driving a couple days ago) was this semi-convertible Citroen I stumbled across in great condition, parked on the street.

As of this very instant, 1PM on August 17th, 2009, the Canada Line Skytrain is open for business. I think it's time you visited the Oakridge theatre , or just that mall in general.
