Black Hawk!

Black Hawk!

Anybody else got photos of these things that've been buzzing over the city the last coupla weeks? This one went RIGHT over our office the other day. Send your photos of choppers over Vancouver to contact@vancouverisawesome.

Rudolph the red nosed...... Translink Bus

The other day Mrs. Belmont and myself were waiting for the Oak Street bus when this Christmas Spirit overload pulled up to the curb. It's a regular city Translink bus with a few awesome upgrades.
MINI VAN?

MINI VAN?

Yet another awesome vehicle parked on the streets of our city. And no, it's not a minivan (my LAST car post about that Nautica minivan got mixed reviews), a mini van parked on Kingsway. Anybody know exactly what make/model/year this thing is?
RIDIN' ON PONTOONS

RIDIN' ON PONTOONS

Has anybody else noticed a lot more float planes out there lately? More than a couple of times a day you can look up and spot two of them up there at the same time.
NAUTICA MINI VAN

NAUTICA MINI VAN

Critical Gas invades Langley!

VANCOUVER TO PORTLAND ON AMTRAK!

VANCOUVER TO PORTLAND ON AMTRAK!

I like to think Vancouverites don't drive as much as alot of other people do in other places in North America. A two hour commute is not a regular thing here for most, and the thought of driving for 5 hours for a weekend trip seems like alot.
Sorry,... Not in service

Sorry,... Not in service

One thing I've noticed since moving back north is that even the buses say "sorry". Is TransLink the only transit system in Canada that does it?
MONSIEUR CITROëN

MONSIEUR CITROëN

Perhaps more rare than that 1980's Civic hatchback SIGHTING of a few weeks back (which I actually spotted driving a couple days ago) was this semi-convertible Citroen I stumbled across in great condition, parked on the street.
