Flights from Vancouver to Bali have dropped to over half the price of regular tickets for travellers who can leave soon.
Flights from Vancouver International Airport (YVR) to Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) typically cost between $1,550 and $5,200, according to the latest data from Google Flights.
However, flights have dropped hundreds to thousands of dollars lower than usual, with return trips ranging between $700 and $800, provided you're willing to make a stop.

For example, a flight that departs from Vancouver on Monday, Sept. 8, and returns from Bali on Wednesday, Sept. 24, costs $707 including all taxes and fees when booked through BudgetAir. Several other third-party airlines offer similar prices, and tickets only cost slightly higher when booked directly with Philippine Airlines, at $707 (see slides two and three).
The itinerary includes a stop in Manila for 14 hours and 30 minutes on the outbound journey and one in Manila for 15 hours and 35 minutes on the return.
From top meditation and yoga retreats to lively nightlife filled with fun bars and restaurants, iconic rice paddies to sun-soaked, sparkling white-sand shores worthy of unbearable nostalgia, Bali is considered one of the most popular travel destinations worldwide.
Flight prices may change quickly based on seat availability. If you want to secure a price, book the ticket right away (some airlines and travel suppliers allow you to hold seats, although you will need to confirm).
