Locals looking to score a cheap ticket out of the Lower Mainland for travel in the near future have another sale to take advantage of this week.
Discount carrier Flair Airlines is offering another sale this week, which applies to all domestic routes for travel between Mar. 1 and Mar. 30. Customers can save 50 per cent off base fares on routes until the sale ends at 11:59 p.m. on Feb. 25, 2022.
Vancouverites can take advantage of ultra-low fares to cities across the country, including Calgary, Toronto, Deer Lake, Edmonton, Grande Prairie, Thunder Bay, Winnipeg and Victoria.
For example, a direct, one-way flight from Vancouver to Calgary costs $41.36 CAD including all taxes and fees. When you enter the sale portal, you should see a "whoo hoo!" at the top of the itinerary with a note that your promo code has been applied. The code is "springsale50" but you shouldn't have to enter this if you enter your departure city, destination, and dates onto the sale page.
