Vancouverites looking to visit the "city that never sleeps" will have several low-cost options this fall.
Right now, several airlines are offering deals to New York City out of Vancouver in October and November for under $400 CAD return including all taxes and fees. Airlines offering ultra-low fares include WestJet, Air Canada, Delta, and American Airlines.
For example, a flight departing Vancouver for New York on Nov. 22 and returning on Nov. 30 costs $378.74 CAD including all taxes and fees flying Air Canada. There is a stopover in either direction, although it is only for just over an hour for each one.
Dates are flexible around this time and prices are generally just under $380 CAD at their lowest with a stop.

JetBlue lands in Vancouver in 2022
There will also soon be another budget option for heading to New York from YVR - with direct flights. JetBlue Airways, the low-cost, New York-based airline, will offer non-stop service between Vancouver and New York starting in the summer of 2022; it will offer seasonal service to Boston, too.
JetBlue has five different fare classes, as well as two memberships. For members, the rules for each fare class will change, allowing for more flexibility and inclusions than other guests.
