Flash sale: You can fly from Abbotsford to Las Vegas for only $61 CAD right now

Looking to book some extremely cheap travel this winter?

Swoop's "Escape Winter Sale" is on for three days and offers low fares for 4400 seats on 31 routes. The sale began on Dec. 17 at midnight and runs until Dec. 19 for travel between Dec.30, 2019 – Feb. 29, 2020. However, blackout dates are between Feb. 15, 2020 – Feb. 23, 2020.

The sale offers a number of great sales from Abbotsford including Hamilton and London, Ontario, as well as Winnipeg. In addition, locals can fly down to Las Vegas for only $61 CAD including all taxes and fees.

Since Swoop flies out of Abbotsford, Vancouverites have to make a trip into the Fraser Valley in order to catch their flights. As a result, many locals skip the low-cost option because they don’t want to spend the extra time or money getting to the airport.

As such, it is worthwhile to factor in what you need to bring, or if you want to sit in a particular spot.
