Deal alert: You can fly from Abbotsford to Toronto for $139 CAD right now

If you are looking to fly to the east coast of Canada this winter, Swoop offers a smorgasbord of deals that are hard to beat.

Swoop, WestJet's discount carrier, has announced its new winter schedule, and it includes a number of ultra-low fares for the 2020/2021 season. It features an expanded domestic network to include Kelowna and Toronto and adds service to popular sun destinations.

Just last week, the carrier announced the start of operations at Toronto Pearson Airport, and is now unveiling where it will be flying.

For residents of the Lower Mainland, Swoop will fly out of Abbotsford International Airport en route to Toronto Pearson. With flights departing daily at 11:15 a.m., there are a number of options to choose from that cost $139 CAD including all taxes and fees for a one-way ticket.

On the return home, Swoop offers daily flights departing Toronto at 7:45 a.m.

In support of Transport Canada regulations, Swoop requires all travellers, over two years of age, to wear a non-medical mask or face covering when flying. Travellers are mandated to wear a mask in the airport, at security and on board the aircraft for the entirety of their flight, and must do so when directed by any CATSA official, Swoop employee, CBSA officer or Canadian public health official.

All Swoop travellers, aged two years and older, will undergo a voluntary non-contact temperature check performed during boarding, using a safe, infrared thermometer. Temperature checks act as an additional layer of precaution to ensure the health and safety of our Swoop travellers and help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
