Known as both the 'City of Light' and the 'City of Love,' Paris is a feast for the eyes, the stomach and the heart that attracts throngs of tourists annually.

Unfortunately, flights to the iconic city from Vancouver typically cost close to $1000 CAD return, even with a stopover. However, booking separate tickets can help to drastically lower the price.

While some flights are cheaper booked in return, WestJet is offering a couple of one-way fares that offer a cheaper way to visit this breathtaking metropolis.

For example, the outbound flight below departs Vancouver on Jun. 1 and returns on Jun. 10. The first flight from Vancouver costs $299.16 CAD, and the return flight from Paris costs $202.23 EUR which converts to $290.46 CAD. As such, the total cost of the flight, including all taxes and fees, comes to $589.72 CAD.
