Canada's biggest airlines are helping ease flight and vacation prices with several sales and offers.
Air Canada, WestJet, and Flair Airlines all have sales on right now, and travellers can find discounts on everything from vacation packages to ultra-cheap economy tickets to business class trips across North America.
Have a look at the deals available for travellers departing from Vancouver International Airport (YVR).
WestJet
WestJet is offering travellers different savings and credit options for its vacation packages.
For instance, customers can enjoy up to US$600 in resort credits to select TRS Hotels and Grand Palladium Hotels & Resorts with a minimum five-night, all-inclusive stay for travel until Dec. 28.
Similarly, travellers staying a minimum of three nights at select all-inclusive Melia Hotels & Resorts in Mexico and the Dominican Republic can receive up to US$200 in resort credits. Travel dates vary.
Canadians can also enjoy a fourth night free and a food and beverage credit during their stay at the Comfort Suites Paradise Island in Nassau. Kids under 11 years old stay, play, and eat free for their entire stay. Guests also receive a $50 food and beverage credit with a minimum three-night stay and a $100 food and beverage credit with a minimum six-night stay. This last-minute offer only applies for travel until May 30.
Flair Airlines
Canada's ultra-low-cost carrier is offering 20 per cent off select flights as part of its 2025 Victoria Day sale.
Flair Airlines is offering discounts on travel between May 19, 2025, and February 12, 2026. The following blackout dates apply: Aug. 29-Sept.1, Oct 10-13, and Dec. 18 to Jan. 6.
Some low-cost deals from Vancouver include direct, one-way flights to Guadalajara for $156, Puerto Vallarta for $176, and Cancun for $249.
Travellers can also fly from Los Angeles to Vancouver for $48 and from San Francisco for $16.
Customers must enter the promotion code "VICTORIADAY20" to take advantage of the sale. The sale ends on Wednesday, May 14, at 11:59 p.m.
Air Canada
Travellers preferring to fly in Air Canada's signature or business classes or premium economy can take advantage of a "sizzling summer" sale for flights across Canada, to the U.S., Mexico, and the Caribbean.
The sale applies to travel between June 21 and Sept. 1, with a 21-day minimum advance purchase. Tickets must be booked by June 2 to take advantage of the reduced prices.
Flight prices may change quickly based on seat availability. If you want to secure a price, book the ticket right away (some airlines and travel suppliers allow you to hold seats, although you will need to confirm).
