The Maldives may be the closest thing on earth to paradise, but a ticket to the bucket-list destination from Vancouver is typically quite steep. Not only is the breathtaking archipelago on the other side of the world, but it also involves a number of stopovers. As such, return tickets usually start around $1,400 CAD to $2,000 CAD.
Luckily, China Eastern Airlines offers an extremely cheap deal next year. The outbound flight departs on Thursday, Feb. 20, 2020 and returns Sunday, Mar. 1, 2020, and the total cost of the flight is $643.03 CAD including taxes and fees.
