After hours of travel, one reprieve an airport can offer is a little juice to refresh worn-out electronic devices.
But someone – dubbed the “outlet bandit” – has been playing a cruel joke on weary travellers by placing stickers that look like electrical outlets around Vancouver International Airport.

“Whoever did this – you are evil,” tweeted the airport, leading to a flurry of responses including some from other airports reporting similar mischievous behaviour.

YVR says they are “on the case,” but the stickers may just be the latest in an old internet prank.
For those looking for a charge, YVR says it has more than 100 charging stations and accessible outlets.
