A breathtaking Canadian church has ranked among the world's most beautiful buildings, according to a new study. 

Montreal's historic Notre-Dame Basilica claimed the top spot in the country and landed among the top 10 most beautiful buildings across the globe. 

For its report, Angi analyzed TripAdvisor reviews in 132 countries to find the most beautiful building in each country as well as determine the top 20 ones in the world. 

With 16,104 mentions of the word “beautiful” in the reviews, Barcelona’s Basilica de la Sagrada Familia ranked at the top of the list. The Cathedrale Notre-Dame de Paris in France claimed the second spot, with 12,931 mentions on TripAdvisor.

The world's third most beautiful building was the Biltmore House in Asheville, North Carolina, with 9,609 mentions. 

The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center in Abu Dhabi landed fourth, with 8,771 mentions on TripAdvisor. The Grand Central Terminal in New York City followed in fifth, with 8,270 mentions.

Montreal's historic Notre-Dame Basilica claimed the sixth spot, with 7,746 mentions on TripAdvisor. 

Located in the borough of Ville-Marie, the famous church was completed in 1829 and is one of the "oldest examples of Gothic Revival religious architecture in Canada," according to The Canadian Encyclopedia.

Other picks include the stunning Blue Mosque in Turkey, the iconic Taj Mahal in India, and Louvre Museum in Paris, France.
