Travellers looking to venture from Vancouver to Hawaii have a multitude of low-cost options to browse over the fall and winter.
Flights from Vancouver International Airport (YVR) to Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL) in Honolulu drop to just over $400 return starting mid-November. By December, those low-cost options drop even lower, with return trips falling to around $350.
In fact, locals can score tickets right around the holidays for this ultra-low-cost price. For example, a flight that departs from YVR on Dec. 12 and returns a week later on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24, costs $348 including all taxes and fees with WestJet; both flights are nonstop.
If you prefer to book directly with WestJet (rather than a third-party supplier), prices sit around $15 higher.
There are numerous options in January under $400, too. Use the Google Flights price calendar to find the cheapest option.
