Today we’re launching a new series of posters to benefit the Registered Nurses Foundation of BC.
The RNFBC’s mission is to provide bursaries to RNs and RN students to help them obtain degrees, preparing them for entry-level jobs in nursing as well as advanced roles; nurse practitioners, clinical nurse specialists, educators, and researchers.
There are 17 nursing programs in our province, and every one of them has a wait list. According to the foundation, the ability to increase enrolment in them is compromised by under-funding and a growing shortage of nurse educators. They aim to get more people into higher positions in nursing, and with the sales of these posters and cards we hope to pitch in a little bit to help them achieve that.
Printed on 100lb stock at a local print shop in East Vancouver, these colourful designs feature Dr. Bonnie Henry’s three-part mantra she's prescribed to us.
Partial proceeds will go to the foundation, the rest will help us continue to employ people that keep you in the know, as well as allow us to continue to publish this free publication in print and online.
Purchase the set for $30 below, or at bcisawesome.com.
Once again, thanks for your continued support! With our Listen to Nigel posters we were able to raise more than $4,000 for the Deaf Children's Society of B.C. and the Greater Vancouver Fod Bank.
