Fraser Health has issued a COVID-19 public exposure warning for the Surrey location of a lumber and building supply store.

The notice is for anyone who visited Dick's Lumber at 12433 80 Ave in Surrey at the following dates and times:  Sept. 30, Oct. 1, 5, 7, 8, and 9, 2020
from 8:30 a.m. to  5 p.m. each day.

The health authority lists public exposures on their website in order to reach any people who may have potentially become infected who they could not contact privately.

"There is no known risk to anyone who attended any listed locations outside of the specified dates and times. If people remain healthy and do not develop symptoms, there is no need to self-isolate and people can continue with their usual daily activities," explains Fraser Health.

If you develop any symptoms of COVID-19, please seek testing and then self-isolate, urges the health authority.

There has not been a public exposure notice issued in the Fraser Health region since mid-August. In September and in a separate section of the website, Fraser Health began listing school exposure events for its region.
