He kept his beard, though.

While he still has his salt-and-pepper beard, Justin Trudeau is rocking a slightly shorter 'do of late.

The Prime Minister revealed a shorter new look in his daily COVID-19 briefing Tuesday morning and people are sharing their thoughts about his cropped locks on social media.

A number of people have commented on how the PM has kept his beard, while others debate which look was better.

Stephen Best speculates, "I've observed that JustinTrudeau's political leanings seem to wax and wane with the length of his hair. The longer his hair the more progressive he leans. The shorter the hair the more conservative he is."

Earlier this spring, videos of Trudeau tossing or moving his brunette locks out of his eyes made waves on social media.

Known as the "Justin Trudeau hair toss," a number of people created GIFs, videos, and memes about the PM's "model moment."

While COVID-19 has left the Canadian economy in a state of uncertainty, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is promising an economic and fiscal update of sorts is coming next month.

The Liberal minority government has been under increasing pressure to offer Canadians more information on the state of the country’s finances during the pandemic.

Trudeau said just one week ago that a fiscal update at this time would be “an exercise in invention and imagination” if the economy, for the most part, is “frozen or in a coma.”

But the prime minister announced Wednesday (June 17) an economic and fiscal “snapshot” is coming July 8.
