They may look like a merry trio, but officials are warning that a three-pack of bendable snowmen could cause you harm.

The festive trio are sold across Canada at Costco, and they were manufactured in Hong Kong by Grand Crea Manufactory Ltd. They are made of a plush material and stand approximately 50 cm tall, and their bodies and arms are moveable. The bodies of the snowmen are white and they are dressed in green or red holiday themed attire (sweater, scarf, and toque).

Approximately 4,971 units of the affected products were sold in Canada, and the affected products were sold from September 2019 to November 2019.

The recall states that, “Excessive bending of the snowman may cause the central wire to break and pierce through the fabric of the covering material and become exposed, posing an injury hazard.” As such, they pose an injury hazard, but so far there haven’t been any reported injuries in Canada.

The Bendable Snowman 3 Pack’s Item No. is #1900348, and customers who purchased it are advised to immediately stop using the affected products and return them to a Costco store for a full refund.
