Keep your umbrella handy.

While the next couple of days only call for a few showers in the city, the Vancouver weather forecast looks decidedly wet this week.

Starting on Tuesday, Nov. 10, Environment Canada calls for a 60 per cent chance of showers during the day and partly cloudy skies at night. However, temperatures are expected to dip down to a chilly minus one.

During the day, Wednesday's forecast calls for a respite from the wet weather, with the forecast calling for mainly cloudy skies. That said, the nighttime forecast calls for showers, but a milder overnight low of three degrees.

Starting on Thursday, the forecast calls for rain or periods of rain through the weekend and into next week. However, overnight lows will be slightly milder, ranging from four to seven degrees.
