While Vancouver enjoyed some bright sunshine and clear skies on Victoria Day, the week ahead looks decidedly wet and dismal.

Starting on Monday, May 19, Environment Canada calls for a mix of sun and cloud and a high of 17°C with an overnight low of 10°C. Following this, however, Wednesday's forecast calls for a 60 percent chance of showers all day long.

On Thursday, the forecast is also calling for a 60 per cent chance of rain during the day, but the evening is expected to be dry with cloudy periods.

Friday is expected to dry, but cloudy all day. And while the forecast calls for a mix of sun and cloud during the day Saturday, the evening forecast calls for a 60 percent chance of showers. Sunday's forecast calls for a chance of rain throughout the day and night.
