So long, rain: Vancouver forecast calls for 7 days of sun next week

While the rest of this week looks decidedly dismal, The Weather Network calls for a sunny change of pace next week. 

Staring on Friday, June 12, however, the forecast calls for rain and a high of 16°C. Following this, Saturday is expected to be cloudy with showers while Sunday's forecast calls for a chance of showers. 

On Monday, the forecast calls for more rain and a high of 15°C with temperatures dipping down to 10°C overnight. Tuesday is expected to be cloudy while Wednesday is expected to be mainly sunny. 

Thursday is expected to see a mix of sun and clouds. 

Heading into the week starting on Friday, June 19, the forecast calls for bright sunshine and a toasty 22°C high during the day. However, temperatures are expected to feel more like 24°C. Saturday is also expected to be hot and sunny, while Sunday's forecast calls for mainly sunshine. 

Monday and Tuesday are expected to see a mix of sun and cloud, and the bright sunshine is expected to return on Wednesday and Thursday.

Metro Vancouver Weather Forecast

The Weather Network has released its official 2020 summer forecast for Canada, which covers the next three months of weather across the country.

The company highlights an "abundance of warm weather across most of Canada," after many Canadians saw record-breaking temperatures during the month of May. However, the summer months are not expected to include "relentless heat" for most of the country.
