Goodbye, Sun: Vancouver forecast calling for rain all weekend

While the old adage claims that April showers bring May flowers, Vancouverites shouldn't hold their breath for the start of the new month. 

Starting on Thursday, April 30 - the final day of April - the Metro Vancouver weather forecast calls for a mix of sun and cloud during the day and a high of 15°C. Following this, the evening forecast calls for a 30 percent chance of showers and a low of 8°C.

As for Friday, May 1, the forecast calls a 30 percent chance of showers with a high of 14°C during the day, with showers at night. Following that, Saturday is expected to see periods of rain all day long, with a high of 14°C during the day and a low of 7°C overnight. In addition, Sunday's forecast calls for a 60 percent all day long. 

While Monday is expected to be cloudy but dry during the day, the evening forecast calls for a 60 percent chance of showers. However, Tuesday and Wednesday are expected to see a mix of sun and cloud.
