It may be raining cats and dogs in Vancouver today, but the forecast is calling for a long stretch of dry weather in the week ahead.

While the city will continue to see periods of rain on Thursday, July 9, Environment Canada calls for dry and partly cloudy skies overnight. And following this, Friday is expected to see a mix of sun and cloud with a high of 22°C and a low of 14°C overnight.

While Saturday is also expected to see a mix of sun and cloud during the day, the forecast is calling for a 60 per cent chance of showers overnight. However, this is the only instance over the next six days that calls for a chance of precipitation.

On Sunday, the forecast is calling for a mix of sun and cloud again with a high of 21°C during the day and a low of 12°C overnight.

Monday through Wednesday is also expected to see a mix of sun and cloud during the day with daily highs ranging between 21°C and 23°C. Overnight lows will dip down to approximately 13°C and 14°C.
