TransLink has announced that the West Coast Express will resume regular serivce this afternoon after protesters blocked the Canadian Pacific tracks on the Pitt River rail bridge.

On Feb. 13,  the transportation agency stated that all West Coast Express trains heading eastbound from Waterfront to Mission were cancelled, and it subsequently issued a cancellation for Friday morning.

All regular afternoon schedules will resume.
