In Juneuary we begged the weather gods for sunshine, and ended up melting our faces off by late July. Of course, we did the classic Vancouver thing, and complained about the heat--despite it being pretty much exactly what we yearn for nine out of 12 months of the year.

Okay, everybody, stay cool: It's going to be hot, and it's going to stay hot. Environment Canada has issued a heat warning for Metro Vancouver.

Vancouver's weekend forecast includes the chance of snow flurries, and we can expect some much colder over night temps--and more possible snow--as we move into the new week.

They said it would happen, but now Vancouver's 7-day forecast says there could be a bit of snow headed our way Christmas Eve and Day.

"The weather will become more wintery over the south coast this week," warns Environment Canada. Yep, we're getting some snow!
