East vancouver is situated smack dab in the middle of the more important parts of the lower mainland. This makes going to other parts of the city allot more accessible. So personally I find that people from eastvan tend to no more about the city and utilize what it has to offer outside of downtown. No offense but people that live downtown tend to never leave downtown and know little about the rest of the city. and thats a shame cause most of the people downtown are not native vancouverites and miss out on lots of dope shit.
