SR and I last night saw the final game of the Women's Canada Cup yesterday at GM place. It was a tough fought battle for the Canadians, who may have out pressured, and out chanced the US but could not out execute them.
Though they could not better the US in the tournament in any of the games, they at least now know what it will take to bring home the gold for Canada next year.
For hockey fans like me...the game made me realize we have to come up with better chants... 'CAN-A-DA' and 'Veeeetttttttttttttttttttttteeerrrrrrrrr' just didn't cut it....
My first reaction to the Finns were....'hey...they're all dolled up!' but then thought it would be asking a bit much out of them to stay in their hockey gear for another 4 hours after their game. They look like they smell so good....probably just because they are in a hockey arena....
