Yes, the WHL playoffs are on, and after our annual sweep in the first round (this year it was Kamloops), we were up two games to zip in the second round going into tonight's game at the Colesium. Tonight it was too little too late, with the Giants down 3-1 in the third. A short handed post, and a late game goal, made it close, but the Winterhawks squeaked out this one winning 3-2. It looks like to me like the teams are just getting to know one another, so I think it's going to be a long series....
If you haven't had a chance to get to Giants game this year or ever, now's a great time. Seats are still available for Friday and Saturday's home games. It's the best jock bang for the buck in the city. Go to a game! In a city full of bandwagon jumpers...you'll have your trailer hitched to this team in no time!
