The Vancouver Giants kick off their 10th anniversary season tonight against my favourite WHL punching bag, the Chilliwack Bruins. They'll be raising their 5th straight B.C. Division banner up to the rafters. The 10 years has gone by pretty fast, I think time goes by faster when you're winning. The Giants are one of Vancouver's newest franchises, but already probably the most successful one ever.
This year it looks like they are going to keep with their winning tradition by extending the contracts of Coach Don Hay, and the most exciting news, the return of Craig Cunningham. He's going to light it up.
And if that's not enough....tonights ticket includes free entry to Playland tomorrow after 2! I'm not sure if there's a better deal in town....
