This is the second international cat in a row who's come to live in our fair city. Meet Davo, formerly of the U.K. (a little royal blood, perhaps?) submitted by VIA reader Hanna Jane Price:

Nicknames: The Davo, Fat Davo, Squishy

Breed/Colouring: British Blue Shorthair

Hood: West End

Habits: Sleeping, grooming, head-butting stuff and howling. Variations on howling include hallway howling, behind-your-head sofa howling, and her personal favorite, shower howling (good acoustics). Can be spotted on Sunset Beach in a fetching harness and leash combo.

Hangouts: Top level of the scratching post, windowsills, the bathtub, the one place in the apartment where someone else wants to sit, and absolutely any cardboard box or open cupboard. Also, if fate allows, any form of clean laundry, especially bed linen.

Other info: Her first ten years as an urbane London cat earned her retirement privileges in the West End, where she is the darling of the second floor of her apartment block. A minor Facebook sensation, she is impeccably groomed at all times – her paparazzi follow her everywhere. Oh, and she f***ing loves raisins.

Name: Davo (pronounced Dave-oh)
