If you keep up on the news (and don't just follow lifestyle outlets like ours) you'll know that last week a huge FIRE destroyed Mattress Recycling's facility in South Vancouver.
This was obviously terrible news for the young entrepreneur, Fabio Scaldaferri, who started this business which employs 45 people and recycles between 350 and 650 mattresses every single day. Yet from the ashes, three really awesome things rose:
1. Another young businessman (Carlton Ee of Rolls Rite) stepped up to the plate to help Fabio find a new depot location the day after the fire. They're already back in action.
2. Fabio's friends started a Fundrazr campaign to help offset the costs of this devastating fire. You can help HERE.
3. All 10 of the beehives that they had on the roof of the business that went up in smoke somehow survived. That alone has got to bee a miracle.
