At 847 hectares in size, Pacific Spirit Park near UBC is twice the size of Stanley Park and is home to a whopping 73km worth of walking trails. Located within the Endowment Lands, this nature preserve was established in 1989 and in that time countless locals have fallen in love with exploring it. In fact in 1996 a community group was formed to act as stewards for it.
Within its boundaries are some foreshore and Wreck Beach but the naked forest seen from the trail system is the real draw.
