Meowfest: Ultimate cat lovers festival comes to Vancouver in 2018

Cat lovers, this event next year is just purrrrrrfect. Meowfest is hailing itself as “the ultimate festival for cat lovers,” and it happens in July in Vancouver.

Hosted by cat subscription box service meowbox, Meowfest will be “a global celebration for cat lovers.”

The first of its kind to hit Canada’s west coast, this one-day event will take place July 29, 2018, and will be a day full of “celebrity cats, food trucks, speakers, entertainment, shopping, adoptable cats and more!”

As a fantastic plus, Meowfest will serve as a benefit to cat-related non-profits. All entry ticket proceeds will be donated to the BC SPCA and other local rescue organizations, say organizers, who also expect about 5,000 attendees.

Tickets will be on sale as soon as January 2018.

In the meantime, if you can’t get enough cats and kittens, may we suggest spending some time watching the adorable livestream feeds from the TinyKittens rescue in Fort Langley.
