Police on watch for accused $28,800 Rolex scammer

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for information in the case of a fraudster accused of scamming a Park Royal jewelry store out of a Rolex watch.

At approximately 4:30 p.m. on Feb. 23 a man allegedly offered the jewelry store clerk a sham bank draft for $28,800 and walked out with the expensive timepiece.

Anyone with information on the crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

Tipsters are eligible for a $2,000 reward.
