PHOTO: Entire flock of geese walks through busy Vancouver intersection

Why did the geese cross the road? Well, just like your average chicken, it seems it's just to get to the other side. And so a flock of geese made their way through the intersection at Main and Terminal in Vancouver Wednesday afternoon.

As it turns out, based on a little geotag digging, this flock takes this route pretty regularly, filing through crosswalks (or close-ish to them) despite the traffic. They've been spotted making their way through the area's busy intersections a few other times this month.

A video shared Wednesday to Reddit captures the geese walking on the street, making their way as cars, bicyclists, and pedestrians stop to make way for them.

Props to a few clever quippers in the comments section on that thread for the bountiful honking puns and ICBC jokes. Let's hope no one at City Hall takes the idea of building "goose lanes" in Vancouver seriously, though.
