With over one million lights spread out over 15 acres of garden, VanDusen Botanical Garden’s annual Festival of Lights sparkles with holiday magic.

The festival also offers a range of music that includes disco, classic and soul that plays over Livingstone Lake with a breathtaking, ever-changing light display.

Guests may also indulge in a range of delectable vendors as well as yummy seasonal beverages. In addition, the garden offers plenty of places to snap a festive photo with your family, friends, or that special someone.

The festival opened on December 1 and runs until January 6, so there's still plenty of time to soak in the holiday magic.

Have a look at some of the first photos from this year's festival.

If you think that VanDusen looks delightful with Christmas lights, be sure to check out the other majestic holiday displays across Metro Vancouver. For example, the Aurora Winter Festival opened on Thursday, Nov. 22 in Vancouver, and offers a truly magical winter experience in the heart of the city.
