Woof, woof!

While a taxi service for your four-legged best friend might seem like a fantasy, a local canine daycare company offers transportation for Fido that does just that.

Located in Vancouver, Dog Taxi Daycare picks your pooch up from your home with their “Dog Taxi Transportation,” which they note works just like a school bus (but for dogs, of course). So, while your prized pup won’t be able to hail a cab, you won’t have to worry about rushing them to daycare before you head to work.

Following this, the staff will take your pet to the beach or a park for two hours of playtime and socializing. After that, Fido can enjoy one-on-one and group training. Once the day is finished the pups get dropped off back off at home safe and sound.

The daycare is the only one of its kind to have a dog park in the centre of the city, and also offers a ‘dog hotel.’ However, they underscore that overnight stays are nothing like the kennel experience, and create a more comfortable and stress-free solution.

In addition, the daycare offers dog grooming and even a ‘pet spa.’ The spa will massage your dog while they, “get shampooed with oatmeal based shampoo that’s great for their coat and skin.”

Dog Taxi Daycare is open Monday to Friday, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. It is located at 35 East 3rd Avenue in Vancouver.
