The moose that decided it wanted to see what was inside a school district office in Fort St. John on Wednesday was caught on camera.

The moose broke through the foyer door around 4:40 p.m., shocking district staff from their desks.

“We all came out and saw this moose stumble in the glass, and then wander toward the board room,” superintendent Stephen Petrucci said.

The moose left behind broken glass and a lot of staff members who didn’t know what to do, as the lighthearted footage uploaded by School District 60 shows.

“While we are looking for staff, this was a surprising applicant!” reads the video’s caption.
