Nat Bailey Stadium named one of the best minor league ballparks

It's not secret that one of the best things to do in Vancouver every summer is to take in a Canadians ballgame at Nat Bailey Stadium. Now we can take pride that we are enjoying our whiffs, ribbies, and yankers in one of the best minor league stadiums in the game.

Stadium Journey has released their picks for the Top 25 Minor League Ballparks of 2018, and Vancouver's Nat Bailey Stadium lands in the number 8 spot.

Here's what they have to say about our venue:

"Nat Bailey Stadium offers a first class experience for fans of all ages. It is an enjoyable and affordable way to spend an evening in Vancouver. The people who work at the stadium are very polite and helpful. The fun factor cannot be beaten, and wandering around the stadium gives spectators a sense of childlike joy."

Being called out for being "polite" shouldn't come as a shocker, since we are the only Canadian ballpark on the list...and, sorry, we are Canadian.

The home of the C's seats 5,132, and was built back in 1951--when it was called the Capilano Stadium. Re-named for Nat Bailey in 1978, it's been home to baseball in Vancouver for over 65 years.

Wondering which stadiums made the top 10 along with our own Nat? Here they are:

1. Huntington Park-Columbus Clippers

2. Durham Bulls Athletic Park-Durham Bulls

3. Parkview Field-Fort Wayne Tin Caps

4. Raley Field-Sacramento River Cats

5. FirstEnergy Stadium-Reading Fightin’ Phils

6. BBT Ballpark-Charlotte Knights

7. TicketReturn.com Field at Pelicans Ballpark-Myrtle Beach Pelicans
