Bald eagles crash land in a Metro Vancouver backyard after airborne battle (PHOTO)

This pair of bald eagles got into an airborne battle before they crash-landed in someone's backyard.

Paul Simpson shared this image of a pair of bald eagles today on the Tsawwassen Loop Facebook group.

He wrote that this is an instance of bald eagles having territorial battles that end up with them crashing to the ground, noting the photo was taken in a home’s backyard on Upland Drive.

“Fortunately the owner called OWL Wildlife Rescue and the birds were quickly separated, suffering only minor injuries,” the post read. “Pretty amazing what can go on in our own backyards!”
