You don't even have to like cats to love cat videos. After all, there are times when it seems like cat videos power the internet. For those who have wasted away hour upon hour scrolling through ridiculous cat videos, you can now transport your obsession from your dark room on your smartphone to a shared experience in a public theatre.

CatVideoFest 2019 is clawing its way to the top of your social schedule, and will be showing twice over two May weekends at Vancouver's Rio Theatre, screening May 12 and May 18.

 CatVideoFest/Facebook

The touring video festival offers a compilation reel of the latest and best cat videos culled from countless hours of unique submissions and sourced animations, music videos, and viral sensations.

Bringing cat video lovers together to share in the joy of watching the vids in the theatre, the event also raises money for cats in need through partnerships with local cat charities, animal welfare organizations, and shelters to best serve cats in the area. A portion of proceeds from this event will benefit Vancouver's Orphan Kitten Cat Rescue Association (VOKRA).

Minors are welcome in the balcony for this event, too - so you can LOL with your little ones, too.
