Anyone who has recently walked by the manmade pond near the Westin Bayshore may have noticed a cute, very late-season duckling that appeared to possibly be orphaned. The duckling disappeared the other day, and I wondered what had become of it. I was so happy to see this sign today, and to hear that the duckling is alive and well, in the capable hands of the Wildlife Rescue Association of BC.
