Cat lovers, this news is purr-fect: Meowfest, the ultimate festival for fans of all things feline, is coming back to Vancouver in 2020.

Meowfest made its epic debut here in Vancouver in 2018 to a sold-out crowd, but opted to hold the furry fun in Toronto in 2019. Now the one-day fest has revealed they will be returning to Vancouver on Sat. Aug. 1 at the Sheraton Vancouver Airport Hotel.

If you're down to purr-ty, mark your calendars for Meowfest's programming encompassing all forms of cat-centric entertainment including workshops, adoptable kitties, shopping, food vendors, celebrity cats, insta-worthy photo ops, and live music.

Among the celeb cats slated to appear are Jiro Boo (the tie-wearing cat who lives in Vancouver's Olympic Village 'hood), Nala Cat, and Fomo the Cat, with more expected to join the feline-up as the event approaches. Human stars include Kitten Lady Hannah Shaw and the creators of "Cats of Instagram."
